# 3rd semester, mathematics-economics 2018

**Framework**

The framework for the study in mathematics-economics is described in the curriculum, called "Studieordningen".

**Project**

The project theme is "*Ordinary Differential Equations/Sædvanlige differentialligninger*"

**Courses**The math courses of the third semester,

*Analysis 1*and

*Linear Algebra with Applications*, help you to widen your mathematical horizon, they supply you with new tools, and they train you to mathematical reasoning in rigorous terms. Both math courses are shared by all 3rd semester students, i.e. Mathematics, Mathematics-Economics and Mathematics-Technology.

Most students experience a rather big gap between studies at the first two semesters and the following semesters. We endeavour to bridge the gap between the semesters by adjusting the courses regularly and to help you overcome `teething troubles', if any.

The course *Micro Economics* is shared with the oecon-students (1^{st} semester) and takes place at the Department of Business and Management.

**Free Study Activity***Topics in Linear Algebra and Ordinary Differential Equations *- NOTE that participation in non-madatory courses will not be documented. Shared with 3rd semester Math and MathTech.
