# Presentation of 5th semester Autumn 2018 - Mathematics

Welcome to the 5th semester.

On the first day of the semester, Tuesday the 4th of September you meet at 10.30 in room 5.227 where Christophe Biscio and Jakob Gulddahl Rasmussen will present you with project proposals. After this you form groups (approx. 23 project-writing students); group rooms will be allocated to you by the study secretary. **NOTE that room 5.227 is only at your disposal until approx 12.30.**

**NOTE that on the 4th September you have to hand-in your "old" keys** (group rooms in Spring 2018) in the period 13.30-14.30. A building attendant will be present outside room 5.018 (Auditorium A).

Course sessions will be entered into the Moodle Calendar. We aim at enrolling our students 'automatically' in the relevant courses within the Moodle system - however, as errors may occur we encourage you to check that you are enrolled. Note that you can always self-enroll in relevant courses, semester-room and project-room.

The course *Statistical Inference for Linear Models* is shared by all 5th semester students, i.e. math, Math-Econ and Math-Tech. This also goes for the non-mandatory course in *Practical Aspects of Statistical Data Analysis and R*.
